This tour will take you along the beachfront pass the finest land marks and some of the oldest buildings the city has.

Cultural this tour takes you on the Inanda Route where we visit the Phoenix Settlement where one of the major leaders of the twentieth century, Mahatma Ghandi originally worked for independence. The Ohlanga Institute was the first African run and African funded educational institution in Southern Africa, and the Inanda Seminary School which has a proud history of 143 years of educating black South African women who have gone into the world exemplifying the schools

Day 3) Shaka land

Travel North to "Shakaland" the Kingdom of the great Zulu King Shaka situated in the Nkwaleni Valley, for a Zulu Cultural Experience. A full traditional Zulu Lunch (Cash Bar) completes this wonderful experience. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon have diner at sky bar (cash bar)

Day 4) Hluhluwe iMfolozi game reserve and St Lucia Wetland Park

Travel North through Zululand into Hluhluwe Game Reserve famous for Black and White Rhino. 96 000 ha of wild reserve provides some exciting game viewing. Before we stop at the hill top camp Restaurant for lunch (cash bar). (Open Safari Vehicle option available).You may see all the big five.

 

 

St Lucia Wetland Park

ISimangaliso Wetland Park, which contains the highest egetated dunes in the world, extensive and diverse wetland system. Numerous waterfowl, grassland, forest and sea birds provide attraction to birdwatchers. In St Lucia, you board the St Lucia boat for a two hour cruise on the St Lucia Estuary with excellent opportunities to view crocodile, hippo and the abundant birdlife in the area Return to Durban early evening have diner at hotel

 

 

Day 5) Sani pass passports are required passport. Have breakfast at hotel Leave hotel at 08:00

After breakfast we drive West through the scenic Natal Midlands. Transfer to a 4x4 vehicle in
Himeville and begin your climb up to the highest
Pass in "South Africa - The Roof of Africa". Visit Basotho Village before having lunch (Cash Bar). After lunch, descend to Himeville for your return journey to Durban.

Day 6) Nelson Mandela capture site Have breakfast at hotel leave 08:00

Take a scenic ride to Howick. Marvel at facial impression of Nelsion Mandela made with prison bars. Visit the museum to get an understanding of his capture before his 27-year stay at Roben Island 

 

Day 7) Have breakfast at hotel take a walk on the beach front if time permit before been transfer to airport
